Can I drive my own vehicle to the Mine?
YES. This season, 4WD vehicles are required. An AWD vehicle with HIGH CLEARANCE may also be a suitable option at your own risk.
On my maps app and/or GPS, it looks like I could drive to the Mine from the north, near Cibola, or from the south, near Martinez Lake. Will either option work?
NO! DO NOT ENTER FROM THE NORTH, NEAR CIBOLA. Enter ONLY from the south, from Martinez Lake.
How much does it cost?
The daily fee for the Red Cloud Mine is $35/person (tailings and dumps only).
The daily fee for digging on the ledge/vein at Red Cloud Mine is $150/person (very limited space)
The daily fee for the South Geronimo Mine is $60/person.
Fluorescent mineral collecting (at night) is $50/five-gallon bucket.
